Hello,

I’m Sarah Marchant, the shutter-clicking key-tapper behind Metal Monkey. Here on this site you will find a selection of jobs I have undertaken in recent years, chief among them: web editing and photography.

I’m a passionate Mac enthusiast and am never far from the keyboard. I have an eye for what makes a good website and specialise in helping individuals, small businesses and organisations deliver their message effectively online.

I also have just as warm a relationship with my Nikon DSLR, always looking to capture the moments and perspectives that would otherwise be lost to the passing of time. A good number of my photographs have been published in the press, or used for promotional posters.

A collection of my photographs are now available via Fotomoto as prints, greeting cards and postcards at my new site www.sarahdoow.com. You’ll find quite an eclectic mix in the gallery, with photographs taken here at home, in the Galapagos Islands, Jersey, Germany, Austria, France, on land, at sea and from the air. Yes, I tend to take my camera with me, wherever I go.

In collaboration with KipperTie I polished up their website, integrating not just their new design ideas and requirements, but also social media in the form of a Facebook page and Twitter feed. Metal Monkey also took a central role in setting up these new accounts.
